As part of the 2005 48 Hour Film Project (Austin, Texas), this film won awards for Screenplay, Acting, Choreography, Sound, and Costumes. As the competition begins, teams are given required elements that must be in each film. Teams then write, direct, shoot, edit, and score the finished project within 48 hours. The genre assigned to this film was "Fantasy". The finished product is a spoof of The Great Escape using elves, fairies, trolls, and a no longer used Travis County (Texas) jail.
