Hanging by a Thread plays out four different perspectives of marriage through a young couple, Brian and Shannon. Over the years, all the things unsaid have manifested into insecurities about the other spouse. After nearly a year of counseling with no improvement, they reluctantly agree to have a camera crew document their relationship per the request of their counselor, Dr. Logan.
